Słabo: I buy things from adverts. → Dobrze: Advertisements can encourage people to buy things they do not need, so we should choose products with less packaging.

Emma: Hi, Noah. What are you looking at?
Noah: An online advert for new trainers. They look amazing, and there's a big discount today.
Emma: Do you actually need new trainers?
Noah: Not really. My old ones are still fine, but the advert makes them look cool. It says they are limited edition.
Emma: That's how advertising works. Adverts can persuade people to buy things they don't really need.
Noah: True. I sometimes buy products just because I see them online. Last month, I ordered a phone case after watching a video review.
Emma: Was it useful?
Noah: It was okay, but it arrived in a huge plastic box with lots of packaging. That felt like a waste.
Emma: I try to avoid products with too much plastic packaging. I also check reviews before I order anything online.
Noah: That's sensible. What do you do with old things you don't use?
Emma: If they are still in good condition, I give them to a charity shop or sell them second-hand. I also recycle paper, glass and plastic.
Noah: I should do that more often. At home, we recycle bottles, but I sometimes throw small plastic bags in the normal bin.
Emma: You could reuse bags or take a reusable bag when you go shopping.
Noah: Good idea. Maybe I won't buy the trainers today. I should think before buying.
Emma: Exactly. A responsible customer asks: Do I need it? Can I reuse it? Can I recycle the packaging?
Noah: So the best choice is not always the cheapest one.
Emma: Yes. Sometimes the best choice is the one that creates less waste.
